"A few years ago I came across the gut microbiome and found it unbelievably clever and important, with all its far reaching health implications. In particular, The American Gut Project inspired me to look at my own family’s diet and whether we were eating a variety of 30 plant foods across the week. Although we were eating quite a high quantity of fruits and veg, it was a narrow rotation of familiar choices and virtually no pulses. I set about creating a mix of 30 different organic fruit, vegetables and pulses for a convenient way to boost our intake of 30 a week- including lots of berries and beans. My husband came on board as we developed a freeze-dried and powdered blend for all. We knew we had to be responsible for the whole process taking the highest quality organic ingredients of known provenance right through to the finished product, so we could wholeheartedly recommend it to others."

"The inspiration for this new product is linked to my childhood memories of summers spent in one of the most beautiful places on Earth- the village of Portmagee in County Kerry, where my aunt lived in a cottage along the New Road. Life was authentic and wonderful, and preparations for meals every evening involved crossing the fields down towards the strand to literally dig up 'the spuds’ and carrots and other vegetables to bring home and put on the boil.”
